...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN IRON...SOUTHEASTERN
ASHLAND...NORTHERN PRICE AND EAST CENTRAL SAWYER COUNTIES THROUGH 445
PM CDT...

At 414 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles southwest of Fifield, or 10 miles southwest of Park Falls,
moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Park Falls, Turtle Flambeau Flowage, Phillips, Mercer, Fifield,
Butternut, Butternut Lake, Pike Lake, and Manitowish.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
north central and northwestern Wisconsin.
