Dry and breezy most of today (Thursday) with southerly winds sustained at 15-20 mph and gusts 25-30 mph. Increasing chances for thunderstorms this afternoon beginning over central South Dakota and moving east through the overnight. Large hail and damaging wind gusts are the greatest threats with these. Friday will also be windy with gusts out of the northwest of 30-35 mph. For the weekend, periodic showers and thunderstorms are expected through Memorial Day. Tuesday-Thursday things warm up and dry out.
