...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT EASTERN MITCHELL AND SOUTHEASTERN
JEWELL COUNTIES THROUGH 1000 PM CDT...

At 931 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Montrose to near Beloit to near Victor.
Movement was northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Beloit, Jewell, Randall, and Montrose around 935 PM CDT.
  Formoso around 940 PM CDT.
  Asherville and Scottsville around 945 PM CDT.
  Simpson around 950 PM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for north central
Kansas.
