This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Rain and thunderstorms will continue for areas east of Highway 61
through the late morning. Rainfall rates of up to a half inch per
hour will continue, mainly for north central Nebraska. While the
threat for flash flooding is low, low-land flooding and rises on
local streams and rivers remains possible. New rainfall amounts of up
to one inch is possible with the heaviest amounts east of Highway
183.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Rain and thunderstorms are again expected Thursday afternoon and
evening for areas east of Highway 83. Storms may become strong to
briefly severe with hail up to 1" and gusts of 50 to 60 mph the main
concerns.

Additional rain and thunderstorms are possible each day Friday
through Monday. At this time, the threat for severe weather is low.

Spotters and COOP observers are encouraged to submit rainfall
reports to the NWS North Platte.
