...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT CENTRAL WAKE...NORTH CENTRAL
JOHNSTON AND SOUTHEASTERN DURHAM COUNTIES THROUGH 545 PM EDT...

At 512 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near RDU International to near Garner to 6
miles northwest of Clayton. These storms were nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Raleigh, Cary, Garner, Clayton, RDU International, Morrisville,
Knightdale, Research Triangle, William B Umstead State Park, and
Flowers.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
