Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Western Washington
National Weather Service Seattle WA
503 AM PDT Fri May 24 2024

.DISCUSSION....Cooler and unsettled conditions return today and
will persist into the weekend as the next system drops into western
Washington from British Columbia. A warm front brushing the region
will maintain chances of showers for the coast and the northern
interior on Sunday. Upper troughing over the northeastern Pacific
will continue to bring additional chances of precipitation to western
Washington through early next week, with another frontal system
expected to move into the region on Tuesday.

Forecast for 20 foot wind speed (valleys and ridge tops) are 10
 minute averages reflecting RAWS winds.
