...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Texas...

  Neches River Near Alto affecting Cherokee, Houston, Anderson and
  Trinity Counties.

For the Neches River...including Lake Palestine, Neches, Alto,
Diboll, Rockland...Minor flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY MORNING UNTIL FURTHER
NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Neches River near Alto.

* WHEN...From Friday morning until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Expect moderate to severe flooding of the
  heavily wooded floodplain. Boat ramps and picnic areas will be
  completely inundated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:15 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 15.8 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    tomorrow morning and continue rising to a crest of 17.6 feet
    early Monday morning. It will then rise to 17.8 feet Tuesday
    evening. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    17.8 feet on 03/30/2018.
