...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 915 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHWESTERN OSAGE...NORTHWESTERN COFFEY AND SOUTHERN LYON
COUNTIES...

At 904 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Americus to 5 miles northeast of Olpe to 4 miles
southeast of Madison, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Automated weather station at Emporia Airport reported a
         64mph wind gust at 8:58pm.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
         tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
         roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Emporia, Lebo, Americus, Olpe, Hartford, and Neosho Rapids.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 35 between mile markers 128 and 146.
 Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 119 and 135.
