At 1028 AM, National Weather Service radar detected scattered
showers and thunderstorms mostly in southeast Oklahoma and also
north of I44 and also in Arkansas east of I49. Showers were heaviest
in Nowata and Choctaw counties in Oklahoma and Carroll county in
Arkansas. The precipitation was in the Bentonville, Rogers and
Fayetteville area. Movement was to the southeast at around 15 mph.
The average amount where it rained last hour was around one tenth of
an inch with maximum amounts of one quarter to one half of an inch.
Coverage and intensity remained about the same as last hour. The
Tulsa area forecast for late this morning and into this afternoon,
partly sunny, a chance of showers and thunderstorms with
temperatures 75 to 80 degrees and east winds up to 5 mph.
