...Preliminary Storm Survey Scheduled for Wednesday, May 29, 2024
for Vance and Coaling areas in Tuscaloosa County...


The National Weather Service office in Birmingham will conduct
storm surveys on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 for suspect areas where
possible tornado damage may have occurred during the early
morning of Monday, May 27, 2024 in Northern Cherokee County and
Northern Randolph County in Alabama.

A final assessment including results of the survey are expected
to be completed and transmitted via a Public Information Statement
by Tuesday night.



Additionally, a storm survey is being planned for Wednesday, May
29, 2024 to investigate suspect areas for possible tornado damage
near Vance and Coaling in Tuscaloosa County from the storms
during the early morning on Monday, May 27, 2024.

A final assessment including results of the survey are expected
to be completed and transmitted via a Public Information Statement
by Wednesday night.
