Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern North Carolina
National Weather Service Newport/Morehead City NC
336 AM EDT Tue May 28 2024

.DISCUSSION...
The coverage of thunderstorms is expected to be lower compared to
yesterday, and mainly confined along the seabreeze. The seabreeze
is expected to be pinned to the coast, keeping the thunderstorm
risk focused close to the coast through this evening. A cold front
moves through later today, pushing offshore by this evening. This
will usher in a period of lower RH and not as hot afternoon
temperatures.
