...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN GEARY...SOUTHEASTERN
RILEY...NORTHWESTERN WABAUNSEE AND SOUTHERN POTTAWATOMIE COUNTIES
THROUGH 1245 AM CDT...

At 1210 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 4 miles northeast of Manhattan to 5 miles
southeast of Ogden to 6 miles southeast of Grandview Plaza. Movement
was east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow
         around unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Manhattan, Wamego, Alma, St. George, McFarland, Belvue, Emmett, and
Louisville.

This includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 307 and 333.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for northeastern
and east central Kansas.
