.DISCUSSION...
Similar conditions compared to yesterday are expected at the prescribed
burn site. Southwest winds increase this afternoon with gusts of up to
20 mph possible. Elevated to near critical fire weather conditions for
a few hours this afternoon with minimum relative humidity values of
around 10 percent. Winds taper off after sunset with light and variable
winds overnight. Stronger winds are expected Thursday afternoon with
another day of warm and very dry conditions. Wind gusts of up to 30 mph
are possible during the afternoon and early evening. Near critical to
critical fire weather conditions are expected for a few hours Thursday
afternoon with minimum relative humidity values at around 10 percent.
Potential for widespread critical fire weather conditions on Saturday.
