...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL HARDING...
NORTHEASTERN QUAY AND SOUTHERN UNION COUNTIES THROUGH 430 PM MDT...

At 346 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 21
miles east of Mosquero, moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of east central
Harding, northeastern Quay and southern Union Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor your preferred
media outlets and NOAA Weather Radio for additional information and
possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for
northeastern and east central New Mexico.
