At 430 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 8 miles northwest of Rich Square to 7 miles northwest of Scotland Neck to 12 miles north of Tarboro, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Expect wind damage to trees and powerlines.
