The areas affected include...  Grand Traverse Bay south of a line
Grand Traverse Light to Norwood   MI...  Lake Michigan South of a
line from Seul Choix Point to the   Mackinac Bridge and North of a
line from Charlevoix MI to South   Fox Island 5NM offshore...  Lake
Michigan from Charlevoix to Point Betsie MI 5NM Offshore to   mid
lake...  Norwood MI to 5NM West of Mackinac Bridge including Little
Traverse Bay...  Point Betsie to Sleeping Bear Point MI...  Seul
Choix Point to 5NM West of Mackinac Bridge...  Sleeping Bear Point
to Grand Traverse Light MI...

At 156 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from 21 nm southwest of Point
Patterson to 11 nm east of Arcadia, moving northeast at 45 knots.

Locations impacted include...
Waugoshance Point, South Fox Island, Good Hart, Empire, Glen Arbor,
North Manitou Island, Sturgeon Bay, Norwood, Old Mission Lighthouse,
Harbor Springs, Cross Village, Point Aux Chenes, Cat Head Point, Big
Rock Point, Charlevoix, Sleeping Bear Point, Beaver Island, Leland,
Pyramid Point, and Point Patterson.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.

These strong thunderstorms will likely produce winds to around 30
knots. A special marine warning may be required if these strong
thunderstorms strengthen. Boaters should consider heading for shore
before these strong thunderstorms arrives.
