...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN MACKINAC COUNTY
THROUGH 145 AM EDT...

At 1241 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Chapel Lake to 23 miles southwest of Saint
James On Beaver Island to 7 miles north of Glen Arbor. Movement was
northeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Curtis, Brevort, Corinne, Epoufette, Garnet, Naubinway, Gilchrist,
Engadine, Rexton, Gould City, Manistique Lake, Batty Doe Lake,
Garfield Township, and Loon Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
