.DISCUSSION...

High pressure will be centered along the mid Atlantic coast with
weak southerly flow over the Pocono Mountains today into tonight.
Temperatures will get warm, rising up to near 80 degrees even at
higher elevations. RH will stay above 40% through the day as there
is not much dry air aloft to mix down with day time heating.

Tonight, as a valley inversion sets up, southerly winds pick up
just a bit on ridge tops though only gusting to 15 mph at most. RH
increases over night as deeper moisture moves in from the south
as high pressure continues to move farther east.

Tuesday is looking even hotter and more muggy with RH likely
staying above 50% in the afternoon at elevation. Maximum
temperatures will get to around or just above 80 on the ridge tops
with more of a breeze out of the southwest on Monday at 10 to 15
mph.
