...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 715 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast South Carolina, including the
  following county, Charleston.

* WHEN...Until 715 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 508 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated mostly light rain
    falling over Downtown Charleston. While additional flooding
    is unlikely, many roadways across the Downtown Charleston
    area remain flooded or closed. With high tide approaching,

    roadways will continue to be impacted through early this
    evening. Do not drive around police barricades. High tide in
    the Charleston Harbor will occur around 619 PM.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Downtown Charleston, Medical University Of South Carolina,
    Marion Square, Columbus Street Terminal and The Citadel.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
