...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN SCOTTS BLUFF...
WESTERN MORRILL AND NORTHEASTERN BANNER COUNTIES THROUGH 545 PM
MDT...

At 508 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Hubbard Hill, or 9 miles southwest of Scottsbluff, moving northeast
at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Scottsbluff, Gering, Terrytown, and Scotts Bluff National Monument
  around 515 PM MDT.
  Scottsbluff Airport around 525 PM MDT.

Other locations impacted by this storm include Wrights Gap.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM MDT for
the Panhandle of Nebraska.
