...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON TO EARLY
SATURDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...The Des Moines River at Des Moines SE 6th St, or from
  below the Center Street dam...to Runnells.

* WHEN...From Wednesday afternoon to early Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, The bike trail is closed east of Water St.
  Water affects portions of other bike trails.
  At 25.7 feet, Water surrounds the base of Simon Estes Amphitheater.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 3:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 21.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    early tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 25.6 feet early
    Thursday morning. It will then fall below flood stage late
    Friday evening.
  - Flood stage is 24.0 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...The Raccoon River at Des Moines Fleur Dr, or from Walnut
  Creek...to the Des Moines River.

* WHEN...From Wednesday afternoon to early Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 13.3 feet, SW 30th St is closed from George Flagg
  Parkway to Bell Ave. George Flagg Parkway is closed from SW 30th
  St to SW 28th St.
  At 13.5 feet, Water affects the low areas of Water Works Park.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 2:45 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 7.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    early tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 14.4 feet early
    Thursday morning. It will then fall below flood stage
    Saturday morning.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
