The National Weather Service in Des Moines  has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northern Black Hawk County in northeastern Iowa...
  Bremer County in northeastern Iowa...

* Until 630 PM CDT.

* At 547 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Dike, or 5
  miles southwest of Cedar Falls, moving northeast at 75 mph.

  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
           tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
           roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  Waterloo, Cedar Falls, Waverly, Evansdale, Hudson, Sumner, Denver,
  Tripoli, Waterloo Municipal Airport, Crossroads Mall, Dunkerton,
  Readlyn, Frederika, and George Wyth State Park.

This includes Interstate 380 near mile marker 73.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for northeastern
Iowa.
