...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Iowa...

  North Skunk River near Sigourney affecting Keokuk County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

The next statement will be issued Sunday morning at 945 AM CDT.

* WHAT...Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...North Skunk River near Sigourney.

* WHEN...Until late Tuesday morning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:30 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 22.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to drop below major flood
    stage this evening, and continuing falling to below flood
    stage early Tuesday morning.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
