UL ridge begins to build across New Mexico through about Wednesday
before it slides to the east across the Plains. This will allow a
low-amplitude trough to pass through on Thursday but with little
consequence. UL ridge will begin to rebuild again through the rest
of the period with occasional slow downs as UL troughs pass well
to our north like on Saturday. This pattern will cause our
temperatures to climb well into the 90s. El Paso may see its first
100 degree this week with latest NBM forecasting that to happen on
Tuesday and again on Sunday. It will also remain quite dry with
some afternoon breezes.

We will see VFR conditions for the next 24 hours. The low end gusty
winds have dropped off. We will see light west winds tonight, but
the low end gusty winds will return for Monday afternoon. Our
ceilings will continue to be unlimited tonight and through the
day tomorrow.

Fire weather conditions will change very little day-to-day. Each
afternoon will see single-digit RH values with afternoon highs
running a few degrees above normal. Overnight recoveries will
remain poor to fair. Winds will top out around 10 to 15 MPH each
afternoon. Venting will be very good to excellent. Smoke transport
will generally be to the east to northeast with variance
overnight.
