.DISCUSSION...
No hazardous fire weather conditions are expected at this time.
Relative humidity values and winds will remain outside of critical
thresholds.
The influence of surface high pressure will keep conditions dry
across the majority of north and central Georgia. Isolated, terrain-
influenced showers and storms will be possible in the higher
elevations of far northeast Georgia this afternoon. Elsewhere across
the forecast area, there will be ample sunshine, with only scattered
cumulus clouds developing each afternoon. High temperatures will
climb into the mid to upper 80s this afternoon and into the upper
80s to near 90 on Wednesday. Minimum RH values this afternoon will
range from 40-50 percent across the majority of the area this
afternoon and Wednesday afternoon (with locally higher amounts in
the far northeast this afternoon). Winds will be fairly light
through the period, peaking at 4-8 mph each afternoon. Winds this
afternoon will be primarily E in central Georgia and SE in north
Georgia, then from S on Wednesday.
