...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT EASTERN BENSON...SOUTHEASTERN
TOWNER...WESTERN RAMSEY AND EDDY COUNTIES THROUGH 545 PM CDT...

At 520 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Maza to near Emrick. Movement was east at
40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Devils Lake, New Rockford, Cando, Camp Grafton, Lakewood Park, Fort
Totten, and Minnewaukan.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
