...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southeastern
Phillips, west central Garfield and west central Valley Counties
through 515 PM MDT
...

At 408 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13
miles north of Fourchette, or 29 miles south of Malta, moving
southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Fourchette, Devils Creek Rec Area, The Bentonite Plant, Content, and
Sun Prairie.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

If on or near Fort Peck Lake, get out of the water and move indoors
or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 10 miles
from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close
enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now! Do not
be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
