For eastern Utah and western Colorado, here is the latest weather
synopsis
Temperatures will continue to be above normal by about 5 degrees for the
start of the first full week of June. Expect a similar story today and
Monday with isolated to scattered storms favoring areas north of I-70 with
dry conditions south of I-70 as a couple disturbances track across the
north. High pressure moves in Tuesday through mid week with dry conditions
and temperatures starting to increase. Dry and HOT conditions expected
Thursday and Friday with triple digit heat possible in the lower desert
valleys of east-central and southeast Utah as well as the Grand Valley.
Shower and thunderstorm coverage looks to increase towards the end of the
week into the coming weekend, favoring the high terrain with continued
above normal temperatures.
