The National Weather Service in Goodland has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southwestern Yuma County in northeastern Colorado...
  Northwestern Kit Carson County in east central Colorado...

* Until 1100 PM MDT.

* At 1026 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Cope, or 26
  miles north of Seibert, moving east at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
           considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  southwestern Yuma and northwestern Kit Carson Counties, including
  the following locations... Joes and Kirk.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 200 AM MDT for northeastern
Colorado.
