...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 PM
MDT/730 PM CDT/ FOR WESTERN THOMAS AND EAST CENTRAL SHERMAN
COUNTIES...

At 552 PM MDT/652 PM CDT/, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles
south of Brewster, moving southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. At 0540 PM, quarter sized hail
         was reported 3 miles east of Edson.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
western Thomas and east central Sherman Counties.

This includes Interstate 70 in Kansas between mile markers 29 and 45.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
