...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN ROBESON COUNTY THROUGH
445 AM EDT...

At 358 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Wakulla, or 7 miles west of Red Springs, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Red Springs, Maxton, St. Pauls, Buie, Wakulla, Rex, Tolarsville,
Prospect, Shannon, Parkton, Rennert, and Lumber Bridge.

This includes Interstate 95 in North Carolina between mile markers 27
and 38.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
