...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 AM EDT EARLY THIS
MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Kentucky, including the
  following counties, Laurel, Pulaski and Rockcastle.

* WHEN...Until 445 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 248 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Somerset, Science Hill, Burnside, Shopville, Dabney, Valley
    Oak, Bobtown, Ruth, Bent, Grade, Woodstock, Dykes, Elihu,
    Somerset Pulaski Airport, Level Green, Bloss, Hansford,
    Hogue, Pulaski County Park and Pongo.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
