732 FNUS53 KJKL 261001 FWFJKL Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Kentucky National Weather Service Jackson KY 601 AM EDT Sun May 26 2024 .DISCUSSION...The weather is expected to remain unsettled through Monday. There will be multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms during this period, with some storms being strong to severe this afternoon into tonight. The wet pattern will keep any fire weather concerns rather low. Then we will see cooler weather by mid-week on westerly to northerly flow at the surface. This will bring a break in the thunderstorms. This will also drop afternoon relative humidity values into the mid- to upper 30s by Thursday and Friday.
