Issued at 202 PM EDT Mon May 27 2024 Another dry and quiet afternoon for the Florida Keys and should remain this way through the next few days with light winds. The weather pattern will start to change as the ridge starts to depart and troughing starts to move into Florida. Rain chances for the end of the week will increase to 20% for Thursday night to Friday night and 30% going into the weekend days. Rain chances could vary depending on convection on mainland Florida and how much spills into the Keys. Freshening breezes will creep back in to the forecast and we could see some relief while dew points slightly decline causing less humid conditions for next weekend. && .MARINE... Issued at 202 PM EDT Mon May 27 2024 There are currently no watches, warnings, or advisories in effect across the Florida Keys coastal waters. From synopsis, high pressure over the western North Atlantic will maintain light to gentle southeast to south breezes through Tuesday. Breezes will surge one more time overnight tonight where breezes may occasionally become moderate. As the high slides further east into the Atlantic, breezes will slacken and become variable for Tuesday night and Wednesday. Another strengthening high pressure moves across the eastern United States and builds southward resulting in strengthening northeast to east breezes for late week. Freshening breezes will return by next weekend. && .AVIATION...
