  Open Waters from Wilmette Harbor to Michigan City out to Mid
Lake...

At 1049 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots and small hail. These
thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 6 nm southwest
of Gary to 15 nm southwest of Valparaiso, moving northeast at 40
knots.

Locations impacted include...
Indiana Harbor, Burns Harbor, and Marina Shores at Dune Harbor.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
