* Special Marine Warning for...

  Nearshore Waters from Winthrop Harbor to Wilmette Harbor...
  Open Waters from Winthrop Harbor to Wilmette Harbor out to Mid
Lake...

* Until 345 PM CDT.

* At 216 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 12 nm northeast of
  Elgin, or 15 nm southwest of Waukegan Harbor, moving northeast at
  40 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and large hail.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves. Large hail could result in
           structural damage.

* Locations impacted include...
  Winthrop Harbor and Waukegan Harbor.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
