The National Weather Service in Memphis has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southern Phillips County in eastern Arkansas...
  Central Coahoma County in northwestern Mississippi...

* Until 915 PM CDT.

* At 822 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near St. Charles,
  or 8 miles northwest of White River National Wildlife Refuge,
  moving southeast at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...Two inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
           wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Clarksdale, Elaine, White River National Wildlife Refuge, Friars
  Point, Kings, Sherard, Crumrod, Watkins Corner, Lake View, Rena
  Lara, Mosby Spur, Ferguson, Wabash, Rudyard, Modoc, Hoop Spur,
  Westover, Beverly, Clover Hill, and Ratio.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
storm shelter or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
