Rain will continue to intensify and spread south along the coast this evening and Monday morning. A period of moderate to heavy rainfall is expected in Del Norte County and northern Humboldt early Monday. Rainfall total amounts of 1.2 to 2.2 inches in Del Norte and 0.2 to 1.0 inches in Humboldt. Lesser amounts of trace to 0.2 inches is most likely on the Mendocino coast and in the interior. Short lived southerly winds gusting up to 30 mph will accompany the rain.
