Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Washington and North Idaho
National Weather Service Spokane WA
553 AM PDT Wed May 22 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Wetting rains for the northern fire districts and ID Panhandle,
with a quarter to half inch possible in the mountains today. A
passing cold front could produce isolated thunderstorm for North
Washington and Idaho Panhandle this afternoon and again on
Thursday. Models are also indicating a similar looking weather
system for the first part of the Memorial weekend, keeping
conditions cool and unsettled with temperatures below normal.
Sunday and Monday looks to dry out and temperatures begin to
warm.
