...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 1045 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall will continue.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Missouri, including the following
  counties, Scott and Stoddard.

* WHEN...Until 1045 AM CDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 143 AM CDT, Local law enforcement reported that many local
    roads remain closed. The rain has ended, but the water will
    be slow to recede overnight.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Sikeston, Dexter, Scott City, Chaffee, Bernie, Bloomfield,
    Advance, Oran, Miner, Benton, Morehouse, Puxico, Morley,
    Kelso, Essex, Bell City, Fisk, Dudley, Hay-Wood City and Cape
    Girardeau Airport.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
