The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Coastal waters from Sandy Hook to Little Egg Inlet NJ out 20 nm...

* Until 230 PM EDT.

* At 133 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing
  waterspouts was located over Ship Bottom, moving northeast at 30
  knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts 34 knots or greater, and small
           hail.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Ocean Gate, Little Egg Reef, Ship Bottom, Barnegat Light Reef,
  Garden State South Reef, Axel Carlson Reef, Harvey Cedars, Forked
  River, Lavallette, Beach Haven, Barnegat Light, North Beach Haven,
  Garden State North Reef, Seaside Park, Manasquan Inlet, and Point
  Pleasant Beach.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.
