...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southwest Missouri, including the following
  county, Barry.

* WHEN...Until 800 PM CDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1203 PM CDT, Flooding is already occurring in the warned
    area along the Flat Creek Basin and other waterways across
    Barry County. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
  - This includes the following low water crossings...
    Rockhouse Creek at Farm Road 2145, Greasy Creek at Farm Road
    2290, Flat Creek at Highway U, Flat Creek at Highway Y, Shoal
    Creek at Farm Road 2110 and Flat Creek at Highway C.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Monett, Cassville, Purdy, Seligman, Exeter, Wheaton,
    Washburn, Shell Knob, Butterfield, Golden, Emerald Beach,
    Eagle Rock, Pioneer, Chain-O-Lakes, Arrow Point, Mcdowell,
    Wayne, Jenkins, Pleasant Ridge, Madry, Ridgley, Wheelerville,
    Table Rock Lake and Roaring River State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
