...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN UNION AND CENTRAL
LINCOLN PARISHES THROUGH 830 PM CDT...

At 752 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles north of Grambling, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Ruston, Dubach, Vienna, Downsville, D Arbonne, Corinth, Shiloh, Mount
Zion, and Unionville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
north central and northwestern Louisiana.
