.DISCUSSION...High-based showers and thunderstorms are now expected today
as a weather disturbance crosses the area. A brief break is
expected late tonight. Guidance has shifted to a further south
system for Monday, with more widespread precipitation expected,
along with higher humidities. A few showers may linger into
Tuesday morning, followed by strong high pressure Wednesday. The
hottest airmass of the season will build into the region Thursday
into Friday...moderating by Saturday.

                    becoming partly cloudy (65-75 percent cloud
                    cover). Isolated showers until 1200, then scattered
                    showers and isolated thunderstorms after 1200.
