...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT DALE...COFFEE...GENEVA AND
WESTERN HOUSTON COUNTIES THROUGH 315 PM CDT...

At 222 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking thunderstorms along a line
extending from 9 miles west of Ariton to 6 miles northwest of
Samson. Movement was east at 20 mph. These storms could intensify
over the next hour.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Daleville, Elba, Geneva, Fort Novosel, Enterprise, Dothan, Ozark,
Hartford, Taylor, Midland City, Level Plains, Slocomb, Samson,
Newton, New Brockton, Ariton, Pinckard, Lee, Malvern, and Rehobeth.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for
southeastern Alabama.
