Fire Weather Planning Forecast
National Weather Service Lake Charles LA
441 AM CDT Wed Jun 5 2024

.DISCUSSION...
Another large thunderstorm complex is forecast to sweep through
the region this morning into early this afternoon. Some of the
thunderstorms could produce strong gusty winds and heavy rainfall.
Scattered showers and storms will be possible again on Thursday as
disturbances aloft interact with a weak surface boundary across
the region. Drier conditions and hotter temperatures can be
expected for the end of the week as high pressure aloft begins to
build over the region.
