...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Minnesota...

  Minnesota River at Morton affecting Renville and Redwood Counties.

  Minnesota River at Montevideo affecting Yellow Medicine, Lac qui
  Parle and Chippewa Counties.

.River levels have remained fairly steady at Morton and Montevideo
over the past 24 hours due to light precipitation in the area.
Additional scattered showers are possible later tonight and
tomorrow, but precipitation amounts will average less than one half
inch. As a result, steady or slowly falling river levels are
expected this week.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Minnesota River at Morton.

* WHEN...Until Friday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Riverside Rd and Front Street flooded in
  North Redwood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 800 PM CDT Sunday, the stage was 21.8 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 800 PM CDT Sunday was 21.8 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    Friday morning and continue falling to 20.4 feet Sunday, June
    02.
  - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    21.9 feet on 04/04/2007.

  the river.

  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 800 PM CDT Sunday was 15.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to remain steady above flood
    stage at 15.0 feet.
  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    15.0 feet on 03/24/1966.
