.DISCUSSION...
Red Flag conditions to continue on the Yukon Flats this afternoon
and evening. Northeasterly winds will continue to strengthen overnight and
could see 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph through the
afternoon. Isolated to widely scattered thunderstorms possible once
again this afternoon over the northern Interior.
An easterly wave moving across the Interior will be the focus
for scattered to numerous thunderstorms on Wednesday.
While these storms could produce significant amount of lightning,
these storms could produce good wetting rains. Some of the persistent
thunderstorms could see rainfall of 0.5 to 1 inches of rainfall.
Thunderstorm potential continues for Thursday over much of the area.
