...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT LUZERNE COUNTY THROUGH 600 PM
EDT...

At 527 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Harveys Lake to Wilburton Number Two.
Movement was southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Wilkes-Barre, Hazleton, Muhlenberg, Kingston, Berwick, Nanticoke,
Plains, Plymouth, Swoyersville, and Edwardsville.

This includes the following highway exits...
 Interstate 80 between 256 and 273.
 Pennsylvania Interstate 81 between 143 and 170A and B.
 Interstate 476 near 105.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
