396 FNUS55 KBOU 302012 FWFBOU Fire Weather Forecast for Northeast and North Central Colorado National Weather Service Denver/Boulder CO 212 PM MDT Thu May 30 2024 .DISCUSSION...Tonight and Friday... Fire weather conditions remain low through Friday. Tonight, relative humidities recover above 75 percent across the region. Another round of scattered storms and showers are possible Friday afternoon for the foothills and plains. Smoke dispersal conditions are poor to fair for the lower elevations and very good to excellent for the high country Friday afternoon. LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Friday night through Tuesday... It begins to warm up and dry out Saturday. Enough moisture and instability will linger for high based showers and thunderstorms. The main threat with this activity will be gusty outflow winds. A few stronger storms will be possible Saturday over far eastern Colorado where better moisture and instability will reside. Gusty downslope winds are expected to develop Sunday, bringing dry and warm conditions. The warm and dry conditions are expected to persist into next week with very little to no precipitation expected. ...Thunderstorms imply strong gusty erratic winds... ...All surface winds are 20-Foot...10-Minute averaged winds... ...CWR is Chance of Wetting Rain - 0.10 inch or more liquid... ...24 HR Trends are based on averages over the respective zone groups and may not match the actual forecast values shown in those groups...
